This was a “wanted to be” monty python.Here are a number o reasons why this movie is stupid.

1.If the makers can’t think of any humour they throw in naked ladies.
2.It’s often slapstick predictable humour.
3.It lacks new ideas from the original film.
4.It just isn’t funny.
5.It’s just an attempt to beat monty python.
6.The first was a lot better
7.It has no story line and you can’t relate to any of the characters.

Dont get me one iam a huge Chevy Chase fan!!!
I even like Funny Farm a movie that the credicts vanished from the boxoffice hits forever…. But why did they like this????
Like a lot of Chevy movies alough the comedy might be a little off (not Chevy’s fault now)it still some how keeps you still watching whenever you are in the movie watching mood

Chevy and Beverly of chourse return, but the russ and Audrie?!?!?! whats up with theam?? Audrie is a little toleratable but Russ?!?!? I forget who he is plated by but he looks likesome all american red head, and his voice is a little country hick to, you can tell they casting agency for Warner Brothers wear on a very tight schedle for this movie becuase they just took the person who first walked into the door!!!!
Rent it or catch in on Comady Central its on there once or twice a month but DONT BUY IT!!

I liked the first in the Vacation series but didn’t really find anything truly can’t-stop-laughing hilarious. Since I was born a few years after the first two Vacations were released, the movies’ 80s-tinged comedic moments didn’t really appeal to me. European Vacation is the only movie in the series I could say I really enjoyed. Beverly D’Angelo continues giving a great performance as Mom, especially when she gets drunk after realizing Chevy Chase’s character accidentally left some private “footage” on his camera when it turned into a European porn video. But the standout performance here really comes from former child actress Dana Hill as an love-infatuated diet-obsessed teenage Audrey (trust me, she is hilarious!). The antics the family get into aren’t believable and it’s a surprise to see how Chevy’s character Clark even is allowed to book a trip (let alone be in charge of one after his horrible attempts before), but in the end European Vacation makes for a hearty laugh nevertheless.
